The only problem is that not many people are willing to do it because of the ammount of time it takes.

Are these things true? What is the best site for an ametuer to live bet games?

Live betting is probably not the way to go, rarely do you see a top capper here even mention it. Tradesports has good markets generally, you can find some bargins in game at times, but you have to be careful. It can be be as bad as day trading on the stock market. However, I always have ts as a book

I strongly disagree. Live betting is the safest way to wager next to scalping.

bet365 offers a lot of in-game betting. Pinnacle offers live betting on some events.

The problem with winning live betting, if you want to get a scalp, is that the lead has to change so you get on both sides of your bet. If you get on one side and the other side continues to do well you have lost your whole bet. If you happen to get a scalp when the lead changes you only win a partial bet.

Live betting is great. You have to be very selective on where you pick up lines, but they are much weaker lines than day to day ones. I'd encourage you to look at a site like matchbook, they don't offer a ton of live games but there are some REALLY bad lines there.

I don't think he was talking about scalping back live lines, he was just saying that they were the next easiest kind of money.

I was talking about scalping. The reason I think this is profitable is simply that the lines do not take into consideration the momentum of the game, which is a very real thing in sports.

For example, the NC 20 point comeback last night in the duke game wasn't just random strings of points. After the first basket they were pumped and duke was discouraged. The live line probably only reflected the score (13 points down) making it a worthwhile scalp opportunity I believe.

EDIT: Also, which is the best place for live lines on SBRs "Recomended List". I'd like to stay on a site with no transaction fees if possible (so pinny isn't too appealing).

I think Bet365 looks best. Is there anythign I should look out for? Are withdrawels fast to neteller or do they require huge ammounts of paperwork and ID to send money?

Bet365 is ok, they'll cut you off and give you the boot if you win too much though.
